I Spy...

This is what I see, out in the garage, when I write.

These are my mother-in-law's plants. I think the sketch is more forgiving than a photograph: the lackluster leaves, some dead, and the muddy blue-green pots against the pale yellow gate begging for a new coat of paint.

Love it, Ajie. It's wonderful to have a forgiving medium. I write fiction to achieve that, too, sometimes.

I am forever envious of people who can draw, sing, write so succinctly, and keep a clean desk. You are capable of at least 2 in my envy list. I suspect your desk is immaculate. So I really hope you suck at singing, or else I will hate you completely.
